sondra morton signed Defend Diversity at UT-Knoxville: Veto SB1912 2016-04-22 08:12:03 -0500Please remember that we are all human. Each and everyone of us has a journey. Gov. Haslam, please veto this bill so that everyone who Chooses to come/stay in TN is protected, wanted, cared for, and included no matter their journey. Different isn’t bad. Different is just different. Remind the legislature that this is 2016 and everyone is equal. Bravo to Knoxville for remembering this important fact. I know our Governor will do the right things by all our citizens. Punshing a college for upholding the rights of all their students and educators seems small minded. I know this isnt what TN wants to represent. We are a volunteer state. We welcome ALL!

Wedding Officiants/Celebrants for DAY ONE in Tennessee
Are you legally able to celebrate weddings and are you willing to do so on DAY ONE and the following days of marriage equality after the Supreme Court makes its ruling? If so, let us know. We may be contacting you to perform ceremonies.
NOTE: Do not fill out the form if you require counseling before marrying a couple. And do not volunteer if you will only preside at the wedding but not sign the marriage license. We respect your views, but what couples who are getting married on DAY ONE need is help quickly to get their marriage finalized.
If you have questions about who may solemnize a marriage in Tennessee, the answers are here.
